Syllabus
- 1. Introduction to the subject. Basic information about the mechanization of construction work, construction machines and technical procedures.
- 2. Construction machines employed in work performed according to the main technical stages of building execution.
- 3. Acquaintance with machines and equipment for the production of building materials.
- 4. Special construction machines and equipment for the execution, repairs and the reconstruction of buildings.
- 5. Special construction machines for the execution, repairs and the reconstruction of civil engineering works.
- 6. Remote control of construction machines and equipment.
- 7. Machines and equipment for landfilling, recultivation and recycling.
- 8. Regulations, standards and ordinances applicable for work with construction machines.
Exercise
13 weeks, 1 hours/week, compulsory
Syllabus
- 1. Introduction to the course and the requirements for its successful completion. Seminar paper – individual assignment – an investment plan for the acquisition of machines to perform work during a selected technical stage of the construction process.
- 2. Consultation regarding the individual assignment.
- 3. Assignment of exercise No. 1. Proposal of a machine assembly for the strucutre with varying usage of mobile and tower cranes.
- 4. Consultation regarding exercise No. 1.
- 5. Excursion to a building materials production plant.
- 6. Submission of exercise No. 1, consultation regarding the seminar paper.
- 7. Presentation of seminar paper – individual assignments.
- 8. Presentation of seminar paper, final test.
