Syllabus

  • 1. Polymers.
  • 2. Theoretical basics of composite materials.
  • 3. Particle composites.
  • 4. Concrete division by matrix material.
  • 5. Polymer-cement mortars and concrete (PCC).
  • 6. Mortars and concretes with polymer matrix.
  • 7. One- or multi-layered fibre composites with short or long fibre.
  • 8. Wood defects. Repairing and reconstructions.
  • 9. Fillers. Division by reological properties.
  • 10. Glue technology.

Exercise

13 weeks, 2 hours/week, compulsory

  • 1. Introduction, requirements for credit.
  • 2. Tests surface adhesion, production samples.
  • 3. Tensile tests of mechanical and chemical anchors, production samples.
  • 4. Strengthening by external bonded systems, production samples.
  • 5. Load test ceiling ceramic panel HURDIS.
  • 6. Testing of samples of surface adhesion.
  • 7. Testing samples of mechanical and chemical anchors.
  • 8. Testing of samples with the applied external reinforcement.
  • 9. Statistical evaluation of the test results, the theoretical foundations.
  • 10. Statistical evaluation of test results in the computer lab.
