  • 1. Information modelling in general - building information modelling (BIM).
  • 2. Information modelling in general – city information modelling (CIM).
  • 2. Connections between CAD and GIS.
  • 3. Motivation of a transition from CAD to BIM.
  • 4. Context of CAD, GIS and BIM.
  • 5. Organizing of construction information – information delivery manual, IFC, IFD.
  • 6. Organizing of construction information – information delivery manual, IFC, IFD (continuation).
  • 7. Links to national and internation normatives and standards (ISO 29481).
  • 8. Data management in construction, roles in project team.
  • 9. Information structure – data model IFC and data interoperability.
  • 10. Information structure – data model IFC, connection between IFC and CityGML.
  • 11. Modelling of BIM geometry in general, Level of Detail, Level of Definition.
  • 12. Practical examples of BIM from surveying based on laser scanning.

  • 1. Work with point cloud - geometry modelling of buildings for city information modelling.
  • 2. Work with point cloud - geometry modelling of terrain for city information modelling.
  • 3. Processing of point cloud for BIM (registration, colorizing, filtration, smoothing).
  • 4. Import of point cloud to BIM software, preparation of modelling.
  • 5. Geometry modelling of generic elements (doors, windows) from point cloud.
  • 6. Geometry modelling of generic elements (doors, windows) from point cloud.
  • 7. Geometry modelling of MEP and HVAC elements from point cloud.
  • 8. Geometry modelling of building from point cloud – structures.
