Syllabus
1. Influence of structure to mechanical behaviour of soils. Effective stress axiom. Short-term and long-term stability. Loading and unloading conditions. Pore pressure, determination.
2. Standard and non-standard triaxial tests. Deformation charakteristics. Material behaviour of cohesive and non-cohesive soils.
3. Methods of stress-strain solution of earth body. The total function of deformability
4. The basic rheological relations. Rheological models
5. Types of structures, loading and limit conditions. Conditions of limit equilibrium in space.
6. Limit states of structures, physical fundamentals of plastic deformation, plasticity conditions
7. Finite affinities, isotropy and anisotropy materials. Incremental affinities, energetical conception, application of dilatantial behaviour
8. Incremental (plastical) relations, energetical conception
9. Non linear behaviour of non cohesive soils due to Konder, Duncan and Chang
