Syllabus
Alternative 1: Construction technology study.
- Production of a technical report for the assigned structure for the construction technology study.
- Situation of a structure with strong relationships to transportation routes.
- Technological study concerning the realisation of the main technical stages for the assigned structure.
- Bill of quantities for specific constructed structures.
- Source analysis of the assigned part of the construction work, including financial calculations according to technical - economic indicators.
- Time schedule and financial plan for the construction of the assigned structure.
- Basic conception of the operation of the construction site in question.
- Safety measures at the site.
- Assessment of completed tasks, defence of proposed solutions, credit.
Alternative 2: A technical stage in the construction of a structure
- Technical report regarding a studied structure with a focus on a selected technical stage.
- Bill of quantities for the assigned technical stage.
- Source analysis for the technical stage in question.
- Managing construction organization for the assigned technical stage.
- Conception of a proposal for site equipment.
- Time schedule for the assigned technical stage.
- Design of sets of machinery for the assigned technical stage.
- Qualitative requirements and meeting them, occupational safety with regard to the technical stage concerned.
- Assessment of students´ assignments, defence of proposed designs, credit.
Alternative 3: A technical project for a selected construction sub-process
- Technical documentation for the construction process.
- Technical description of the building structure, or its parts, varied options for solving issues, choice of approach.
- Technical procedure for manufacture, sequence of individual tasks, interrelationships, workplace organisation and equipment, preparedness.
- The used material, its quantity and quality, method of transportation.
- Expertise of each member of the work crew, machinery used, tools and other ancillary equipment.
- Itemised budget for the construction sub-process.
- Time schedule for the performed construction sub-process.
- Quality conditions for the work done, occupational safety during the construction process.
