1. An introduction to cooling systems. Refrigeration cycles.
2. Building thermal load calculation. Cooling capacity. Project documentation.
3. Refrigerants and secondary coolants.
4. Ends elements - fan coil units, induction units.
5. Chillers.
6. Liquid coolers, cooling towers, water treatment.
7. Hydraulic of cooling systems. Thermal insulation.
8. Chilled ceilings.
9. Split system. The concept of cooling systems. Cooling machine rooms.
10. Cold rooms and freezer rooms.
11. Alternative and passive cooling systems.
Exercise
