Specialized Excursion
Academic Year 2023/24
TG53 course is part of 2 study plans
N-P-C-A / ARS Summer Semester 1st year
N-P-C-A / ARS Summer Semester 1st year
The specialized excursion is an important part of the master’s degree in architecture. With regards to the nature of the specialization, direct experience with executed constructions, both historical and contemporary, perceived in the local context, in 3D reality and time, is irreplaceable by other means. The preparation of the programme and the itinerary of the excursion, put together by an expert, is of crucial importance. A commentary in situ, both by the accompanying lecturer and perhaps by the author of the visited construction, multiplies the effect of the experience and provides feedback on the topics covered during lectures on the university premises.
The organization of the specialized excursion is based on the active participation of the students, who take part in its preparation and after it has taken place, provide a report on the outing to the subject guarantor according to a set outline, on the basis of which they obtain a classified credit.
