Complex design of functional systems of settlements taking into account the needs of the human community, forecast of demographic and social development, protection of natural and historical values of the area. Urban and operational solutions, determination of functional and land use limits.

Application of theoretical knowledge gained in previous studies of urban planning, physical planning and architectural disciplines, the gaining of awareness of the essence of a balanced relationship between the artificial and natural environment and regarding the permanently sustainable development of urban areas and rural landscapes.
