Elaboration of applications of theoretical knowledge in building services specializations for given building. Study of literature, standards and regulations. Collection of inputs for theory application. Evaluation of inputs with computer programs. Conceptual processing of theoretical design and its processing in the project for building realization. Presentation of results.

Aims

Professional Knowledge

The student understands the principles of designing building services systems and their coordination with the building structure and other disciplines. The student understands the requirements of legislation, standards and technical sources for the preparation of design documentation.

Professional Skills

The student is able to analyse a given building, develop a conceptual design of selected building services systems and elaborate it into construction documentation. The student is able to use technical catalogues and computer tools and coordinate the design with other disciplines.

Professional Competence

The student is able to independently design selected building services systems, prepare their project documentation and professionally present the results.

Prerequisites

Indoor climate, plumbing systems, heating, air conditioning on the level of subjects in 2. and 3. grade of bachelor´s study.

  • Determination of specific building, specialization of technical building equipment and input data
