Treaties and international agreements (AGC, AGTC, AETR, IRU, TEN-T etc.). Government regulations for transport ecology through combined transport. Strategy and perspectives for railway transport. Modernisation of Czech railway corridors.
Transport systems, basic division. Common conditions for construction and transport operation following international agreements.
Combined transport system. Container transport system. System for trailers, pick-a-back systems, container transport, transport of cars.
Integrated transport system. Transport service with a public aim.

Entry Knowledge
Basic terms, track alignment design parameters and its spatial positions, railway substructure and superstructure, the design of railway tracks and stations.
Aims
The objective of the subject is to introduce students to the problems of railway acts, treaties and international agreements and transport systems and to practise acquires knowledge and skills.
A student acquires skills in railway acts, treaties and international agreements and transport systems.
