Aims

Professional knowledge
  • The student will gain common knowledge about the design process of a simple object and will be able to solve basic technical problems associated with it. Has knowledge of the requirements of legal regulations and standards regarding the design of buildings.
Professional skills
  • After graduation, the student is able to apply standard procedures for the independent design of a simple object (family house). He is able to draft a concept for a simple building in terms of construction, materials, construction-physical and sustainability.
Competence
  • In construction practice, the student is competent to independently design and assess a basic object, including the concept of a structural and material solution. He is prepared to acquire advanced knowledge in subsequent subjects or construction practice.
